When Republican pundits throw up their hands and declare "it's over" you have to wonder what is going on behind closed doors in the GOP. After an interview on MSNBC Peggy Noonan and Mike Murphy were caught on tape after the on-camera segment discussing the Palin nomination.
Noonan flatly says, "it's over", in referring to McCain's chances at the White House. She goes on to say the choice is "political bullshit" and Murphy calls the choice "cynical and gimmicky".

And every day, we find out just how much Palin's choice was knee-jerk pandering to the neocons. I wonder if she's going to become the Thomas Eagleton of the Repulican party...
