With a theme of "America First" the DNC is going to really have to spin to explain Sarah Palin's husband's membership in the Alaska Independence Party. The stated goals of the group is succession from the US and formation of their own sovereign state self sufficient on oil revenues. Palin even recorded a greeting for the convention of the Alaska Independence Party and the Daily Kos has it here.
Again and again the McCain campaign shows their lack of concern for our country and their pick for VP. I really believe there was no vetting at all. McCain is a gambler, and his pick of Palin was a crap shoot. McCain loves to shoot craps and this time he came up snake eyes!
