Christian Coalition Drowning In Debt
According to a Washington Post article April 10 the once powerful Christian Coalition is saddled with over $2,000,000 in debt and is being hounded by creditors. Apparently contributions have dropped as well since their budget has dropped from $26 million to just $1 million, according to Stephen L. Scheffler, president of the Iowa affiliate. That chapter has severed ties to the national organization whose power seems to be at an end. More about this is on the Americans United For Separation of Church and State website.
