Cholera In Baghdad

Listening to all the bragging about stability in Iraq, I decided to check in with my fellow blogger Dr. Mohammed who blogs from Baghdad. It seems things there are not all candy and flowers. A cholera epidemic has broken out. The district health office apparently cannot or will not give his clinic sufficient supplies and materials. Dr. Mohammed is a dentist and today his anesthesia ran out, so he had to do tooth extractions without it. Not a pretty picture.

Additionally, roadside bombs are still a problem and he recounts the explosion of one nearby. It is always a sobering thing to read his blog and I encourage you to do so.
