Radical Christians Try to Bomb Church in Burleson, Texas

Apparently their church is better than any church. That was the motive behind placing an incendiary device at the door of a new church under construction in Burleson, Texas. The church, Victory Family Church was undamaged, but the men got bogged down in the mud trying to escape. A deacon of the church caught them and called police.

Two other suspects escaped in a car. The crime carries a possible life in prison sentence. The two stated to authorities that they belonged to a radical Christian group bent on destroying all other denominations. Sounds a lot like the "one true church" dogma of the Pope.

I go to Victory Family Church and i'm the drummer there. My stepdad is the deacon who caught the boys. Everybody was caught and they all stand trial in January. They are facing local and federal charges as an act of urban terrorism. We dont proclaim to be a better church than anybody else, no church does or should do that. Were all here for the same reason. The only damage was a burn mark on the pavement. They will be serving 10 years in a state penitentiary and have $10,000 fines bestowed upon them.

Thanks for the comment. I sincerely hope your church will continue to survive and thrive. My church has had threats in the past and I understand how upsetting it can be.
