Now McCain and Palin's wacky supporters are starting their campaign of terror against the Obama campaign. The headquarters received a threatening letter with a strange substance enclosed. Authorities determined that the substance was brown sugar, but the threatening letter was real.
The offices were evacuated for a short time while hazardous materials specialists cleared the premises.
Though this was a hoax, it is not hard to imagine someone doing something far more real. This is what happens when you whip a bunch of right wing bigots into a frenzy, they do crazy things.
McCain seems unable or unwilling to control his VP pick and her inflammatory style. It's time for this to stop and it's time for the Secret Service to have a long talk with him and Sarah Palin.
