One of the funniest ads to hit TV has been pulled in the US because of a perceived insult to gays. The ad features a speed-walker being assaulted by Mr. T on the back of a pick up truck. The characteristic "swishing" of speed walkers butts apparently is the crux of the problem. The HRC even complained to Mars Candy about the ad. The same ad in the UK got only two minor complaints and a big round of laughs from the gay community. Guess we are humor challenged or have never seen speed-walking before.
Every gay man I have shown the ad to laughed their asses off. Are they going to complain to the Olympic Committee about the swishy speed-walking events in Beijing?
