The old Saturday Night Live joke delivered by Chevy Chase, "this just in, Generalissimo Franco is still dead", is similar to the verdict delivered by the Minnesota Court of Appeals when they told Larry Craig, "you are still guilty!"
Craig was seeking to withdraw his guilty plea in the Minneapolis Airport bathroom sex sting case, saying his civil rights were violated. The court didn't buy it.
Craig as you remember said he would resign from the Senate, yet there he is, serving out the remainder of his term. I guess that was just another case of him "misspeaking".
