The man who created Big Bird with Jim Henson is dead, long live Big Bird!.. Damn. People I knew in my early career in TV are dropping like flies!
Kermit whose white flowing beard garnered him lots of "Santa Clause" jokes was a timeless man. His wit and humor endeared him to everyone. His genius will live on in his characters and his work on film and TV.

As a Libra, and one who believes in Karma, Yin & Yang, and all-around balance in the universe, I see the loss of these two entertainers, who brought so much joy, laughter and a love of learning to children everywhere, as the universe attempting to balance the loss of the commodious reservoir of venemous bile and malice that was Senator Jesse Helms. At least, this is how *I* choose to view it.
