Ed Wood Move Over!

I am a connoisseur of awful films.  I love the bad dialogue and rotten effects of films like Ed Wood's "Plan 9 from Outer Space".  So how did I miss this one?

The Room, by actor-writer-director-producer Tommy Wiseau came out back in 2003 and not surprisingly I missed it.  Having seen a few clips, I have to say this is first rate schlock.  This film takes wooden acting to new levels, and it's $6 million budget must be a high mark for bad movies.  Watch this scene on a rooftop which is one of the highlights of the movie. (Warning, it is painful to watch)

It's no Robo Geisha, but it comes damned close!

ARRRRRRHGGHGHG!!!!!!!!

You got the wrong version number! 9, not 6...

It's "Plan 9 From Outer Space"...

Here's the link to IMDB's info:

And yes, I enjoy B (even sometimes C) movies.

Catch Elvira's Movie Macabre (aka Movie Madness) sometimes on Saturday nights at 12 midnight on channel 33.3 ThisTV for fun. Bewarned: ThisTV doesn't seem to know if they like her or not, so Elvira may never show up!

This is what happens when the blogger is dyslexic and already overwhelmed with a bad movie. Changed, thanks for catching that. Plan 9 is one of my faves, and the scene with Vampira in the grave yard is absolutely classic.
