I hope Maggie Gallagher is in a tizzy. The National Organization for Marriage - a hate group dedicated to denying LGBT people equal rights, is failing. Their strategy, detailed in previously secret documents, was to drive a wedge between the African American community and LGBT community. According to the latest ABC/Washington Post poll it isn't working. Support for same-sex marriage has risen to 59% in the African American community.
For the first time, the number of Americans who “strongly” support
marriage also (39 percent) outweighs the number who “strongly” oppose it
(32 percent).
