Mondrian's Birthday

Composition II in Red, Blue, and Yellow
Well I missed it. Yesterday was Piet Mondrian's birthday. The neo-plasticist painter is best known for his use of broad fields of primary colors within grids of bold black lines.

I have always loved his work and once had a conference room at my office painted with one of his designs. Mondrian was born March 7, 1872 and died in 1944 but his work is as timeless as any classical painter.
