Speech May Be Free - But Security Cost Money

The "good" folks at the Dove World Outreach center, you know the Qu'ran burners, may have been successful in their publicity stunt, but he city of Gainsville, Florida spent some serious bucks providing security for the event that didn't end up happening.  Rev/ Terry Jones ruckus caused a much heightened state of security in the town that included a whole lot of surveillance and patrolling out of the ordinary for the small Florida community.  The city says it spent almost $200,000 to protect the pastor and his stunt.  Now it is time to pay the piper.

The city has submitted a bill and expects payment in full.  Perhaps this will  give Jones a chance to consider his next publicity stunt and the real cost.
