Sting Ray Leaps Into Boat & Kills Woman

Talk about odd. A woman was killed on a boat in Florida when an Eagle Ray leapt from the warm water and struck her. She fell and was knocked unconscious and later died. One report has the ray hitting her in the neck with its poison barbed tail.

The incident is reminiscent of the tragedy in which Steve Irwin was killed by a sting ray while filming underwater in Australia.
