Sarah Palin's speech that implied that Obama was a "pal of terrorists" and then another speaker on her stage began using Obama's middle name make the whole campaign really dirty. When Palin says "he's not like us" she might as well be saying, "he's black, be scared".
Her crap might be playing with the "base" and I use that word in both connotations, but it won't work with the rest of America.
